Word Chain Battle
Word Chain Battle is a head-to-head word duel for two players. Each of you secretly builds a chain of ten words where every adjacent pair combines into a single, recognizable meaning — think "sun" → "flower" → "pot". Your chain becomes a puzzle your opponent has to unravel one word at a time.
Players then alternate turns trying to guess each other's hidden words in order. Guess correctly and your turn keeps going, letting you rip through a streak. Stuck? You can reveal the next letter of a word — but doing so ends your turn and hands momentum back to your rival. The first player to guess all ten of their opponent's words wins the battle.
It rewards clever, lateral thinking on both offense and defense: you want a chain that's fun to solve but tough to crack. Games are quick — usually 5–10 minutes — making it perfect for a best-of-three showdown.

How to Play
Create a 10-word chain where adjacent words have a unique meaning when read together. Then take turns guessing each other's hidden words! Guess correctly to continue your turn, or ask for a letter to reveal the next hidden letter (but end your turn). The first player to guess all 10 words wins!

Two players join (1v1). Both ready up, then the host starts.
Build Your Chain
Each player privately builds a 10-word chain where adjacent words form a unique combined meaning. AI can suggest words as you go.
Take Turns Guessing
Players alternate guessing each other's hidden words, in order.
Guess Right, Keep Going
A correct guess continues your turn so you can guess the next word. Close guesses are confirmed by your opponent.
Ask for a Letter
Stuck? Reveal the next hidden letter — but your turn ends.

Tips & Strategy
- Chain words that only make sense in sequence — "fire" → "fly" → "paper" is harder to reverse-engineer than obvious pairs.
- Mix common and unexpected links so your opponent can't guess your pattern early.
- Spend letter reveals wisely: they cost you your turn, so only ask when you're truly stuck.
- Track which of your opponent's words you've already cracked to spot the theme of what's left.
- A close guess can be accepted by your opponent — say your best attempt out loud even if you're unsure.
